Ordering from the UAE: good to know

  • School calendars

    Indian-curriculum schools in the UAE usually start the academic year in April, so start talking to us between November and January. British, American and IB schools usually start in late August or September: start between April and June.

  • Working hours overlap

    India is 1 hour 30 minutes ahead of the UAE. Our hours, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm IST, are 7:30 am to 4:30 pm UAE time, Monday to Saturday.

  • Fabric for the climate

    Tell us where the uniforms will be worn, indoors with air conditioning or outdoors, and we will suggest lighter, breathable fabric options.

  • Customs and VAT

    UAE customs duty, VAT and clearance charges are paid by the buyer unless we agree otherwise in writing. Shipping is itemised in your quotation.

How international orders work

  1. Step 1: Send your requirement

    Message us on WhatsApp or use the quote form, at any hour in your time zone. Tell us the garments, quantities, colours and logo.

  2. Step 2: Receive an itemised quotation

    Garment prices, any sample charge, shipping to your city and payment terms, each shown separately.

  3. Step 3: Approve a sample

    We can stitch a sample in your fabric, colour and logo and courier it to you to check fit and finish before bulk production.

  4. Step 4: Production in Kerala

    Your order is cut and stitched to the approved sample at our unit in Konni, and checked and packed by size.

  5. Step 5: Shipping to you

    Sent by air courier or sea freight, whichever suits the quantity and your date. Import duties and taxes are paid by the buyer unless agreed otherwise.

Do you have a presence in the UAE?

Misharen is a registered business and a registered brand in the UAE. Uniforms are made at our own manufacturing unit in Kerala, India, and shipped to you.

Can you supply uniforms for several branches or clinics?

Yes. Send the size breakdown per branch and we can pack each branch’s uniforms separately, labelled with the branch name.

Can you make uniforms for Indian-curriculum schools in the UAE?

Yes. We make the full set, from shirts, trousers and pinafores to PE uniforms and house t-shirts, in your school colours and badge. For an April start, contact us between November and January.

Can you sew our own brand labels into the uniforms?

Yes. We make private label uniforms: your brand, size and care labels are sewn into every garment, and your logo can be embroidered too. Send us your labels or the artwork for them.

Who pays customs duties and import taxes?

For orders outside India, the buyer pays any import duties, VAT or local taxes, customs clearance fees and other destination-country charges, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Delivery terms are confirmed in the quotation before production begins.

How can international customers pay?

We send payment instructions with each confirmed quotation. International customers pay by bank transfer. The currency, advance amount, payment stages and bank charges are agreed before the order is confirmed, and production starts according to those terms.

What are your working hours?

Mon to Sat, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm IST (UTC+5:30). You can send an enquiry through the website, on WhatsApp or by email to [email protected] at any time, and we reply during working hours. Calls with international buyers can be arranged in advance.
