Ordering from the UK: good to know

  • Role colours matched

    Many healthcare providers use a colour for each role. Send us your colour chart and we stitch each role’s scrubs or tunics to match, with role names embroidered if you want them.

  • School year

    UK schools start in September. Start talking to us between April and June so there is time for sampling, production and shipping before the new term.

  • Working hours overlap

    India is 5 hours 30 minutes ahead of the UK in winter and 4 hours 30 minutes in summer. Our hours, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm IST, cover UK mornings, Monday to Saturday.

  • Import duty and VAT

    UK import duty, import VAT and clearance charges are paid by the buyer unless we agree otherwise in writing. Shipping is itemised in your quotation.

How international orders work

  1. Step 1: Send your requirement

    Message us on WhatsApp or use the quote form, at any hour in your time zone. Tell us the garments, quantities, colours and logo.

  2. Step 2: Receive an itemised quotation

    Garment prices, any sample charge, shipping to your city and payment terms, each shown separately.

  3. Step 3: Approve a sample

    We can stitch a sample in your fabric, colour and logo and courier it to you to check fit and finish before bulk production.

  4. Step 4: Production in Kerala

    Your order is cut and stitched to the approved sample at our unit in Konni, and checked and packed by size.

  5. Step 5: Shipping to you

    Sent by air courier or sea freight, whichever suits the quantity and your date. Import duties and taxes are paid by the buyer unless agreed otherwise.

Do you have a presence in the UK?

Misharen is a registered business and a registered brand in the UK. Uniforms are made at our own manufacturing unit in Kerala, India, and shipped to you.

Can you match our existing role colours?

Yes. Send a sample garment, a photo or the colour references you use and we match the fabric colour, then confirm it on a sample before bulk production.

Do you make PE kits and house t-shirts for UK schools?

Yes. We make PE kits and house t-shirts in your house colours, along with shirts, trousers, skirts and pinafores, with your school badge embroidered.

Can you sew our own brand labels into the uniforms?

Yes. We make private label uniforms: your brand, size and care labels are sewn into every garment, and your logo can be embroidered too. Send us your labels or the artwork for them.

Who pays customs duties and import taxes?

For orders outside India, the buyer pays any import duties, VAT or local taxes, customs clearance fees and other destination-country charges, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Delivery terms are confirmed in the quotation before production begins.

How can international customers pay?

We send payment instructions with each confirmed quotation. International customers pay by bank transfer. The currency, advance amount, payment stages and bank charges are agreed before the order is confirmed, and production starts according to those terms.

What are your working hours?
